What To Expect At Your Visit

This is a place where you can be yourself and let go of things you are holding onto that are holding you back. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to support you. Together we will help you gain the tools to get you to your goal.

In the first session I will be collecting some information and getting to know who you are, and what we will be working towards. Together we will set a plan, breaking down treatment goals, and deciding what forms of therapy will work best for you.

Distance Counselling

Sometimes getting to sessions in person can be difficult and become an obstacle to therapy. Distance counselling can help you save time and money as your don't need to travel to and from appointments. You can be in the comfort of your home and be available to others who need you while taking care of yourself.

On-line therapy is offered on a secure platform.

Just Breath

I know we've all heard it before, but it's true, part of what makes us more tense is when our brain notices that we started holding our breath, so becoming more aware of this rythmic motion within our body and then breathing tells our brain that things are okay and to relax.

Be where you are now

Look around you. Are you okay in this moment? Are you safe? Then you are doing okay. There are a lot of things to worry about in life, but ask yourself are they happening right now? So let yourself be in this moment even of for a short time and this will help you relax.

Go to your

soothing memory

Sometimes the moment we are in is not a good one and it is too painful to bear. In these moments taking a break can be helpful. Remember a time when you felt calm, joyful, or loved. Close your eyes and remember.
